SCP Environmental are the sole UK distributors of all retaining wall and acoustic barrier systems manufactured by Gala-Lusit GmbH. In the UK we market three specific systems, two are modular systems, the other takes the form of precast concrete sections.

Our modular elements are made with Lusopor, a thermally treated specially expanded slate which when mixed together with a 5% solution of cement and water provides the ideal green solution for the installation of retaining walls, especially where housing, the environment and congenial landscaping are prime considerations for the success of the project.

Lusit modular retaining systems can be used to create sloped and vertical retaining walls, with smooth contours or straight lines, ideally planted for maximum effect however they can also be completely maintenance free.

Lusit Shutterstone blocks provide a very quick solution for insitu concrete shuttering. The blocks simply stack together with rebar within them, concrete is then poured and vibrate within the blocks to create a solid retaining or basement wall, which can then be faced or rendered depending on application.

Lusit Angle Supports are “L” shaped precast reinforced concrete sections that can be used for retaining walls and support structures from 500mm to 8000mm in height and to all load factors up to extreme for road and railway applications. They are made in steel moulds for high quality and absolute manufacturing consistency, colour continuity is guaranteed with a mirror smooth finish and chamfered edges.

Every retaining wall proposal is supported by a set of design calculations specific to each individual location, combined with full working drawings, technical and on-site support.

Lusit systems are flexible in application and can provide a wide variety of solutions to meet the majority of our customers’ needs, low cost and fast to install, typically you can install 50 linear metres of Angle Supports in two days. Each retaining wall application is unique and our ambition is to provide you with the most cost effective and performance oriented solution currently available in the UK, this will include modular systems, precast and soil reinforced retaining walls supported by a wide range of geosynthetics.
